Recently I have been thinking and wondering about my health. Why this happen. I feel too tired everyday. Even when I just wake up from sleep, I feel tired and my body aches so much. Sometimes the joints become stiff until I feel like a moving robot. Sometimes I could not get out from bed freely. I cannot do even a simple task. I cannot take care of my family. This has caused me much problem.

I prayed to God. Then I look back at my past and present health problems. And I searched in the internet. Asked doctor. So I managed to gather some possible factors or reasons why I am experiencing this problems.

Dehydration

I found out that I have been drinking less than 8 glasses of liquid a day. While at first it does seem like not much an issue, I found out that lack of water in our body can cause muscle pain and joint pain. Roughly, it is because of lack of electrolytes and liquid in muscle and joints which leads to the pain. It also makes us feel tired. Dehydration also affect our brain function and caused situations like brain fog and lack of focus.

Solution : Drink enough water. Basic need maybe different from people to people but try to drink 8 glasses of water a day.

When I drink 8 glasses of water per day, the first thing happened is frequent urination. I think around 1/3 of water from a full glass I drank went out. But it is okay. Then I feel less muscle and joint pain after a day. And I feel more energized. And my eyesight also seems sharper. I really thank God for helping me.

Lack of Red Blood Cell or Anemia

Red blood cells carry oxygen throughout the body. Lack of red blood cells in the body results in lack of oxygen sent to some parts of the body. This caused the muscles to work harder, resulting in pain and fatigue. Anemia also can cause leg pain, chest pain and difficulty to focus in thinking. Anemia is caused by several factors. But the most common factor is iron deficiency.

Solution : Taking iron supplements and eating iron rich foods may help in fighting anemia. Go see the doctor first to check whether anemia is the cause of fatigue and the factors that caused anemia.

Excessive Physical Work and Lack of Rest

Sometimes we really drown in work until we forget to rest. We really keen on reaching our goals, fulfilling our responsibilities we don't care about our body. Until our body don't want to cooperate with us anymore and we became sick. Take enough rest, and don't forget to rest in weekend or set a day in a week to rest.

Stress And Depression

Stress and depression can cause unexplained fatigue. Depression happens when the brain has neurotransmitter problem. Neurotransmitter such as serotonin and dopamine might be lacking in the brain causing someone to have problem with their mood and mind. This also leads to body pain and fatigue. Well, this is what I understand from my reading.

A person with depression may feel tired all day without doing anything. It also can cause wrong pain signal sent to the body. Stress causes muscle tension especially on the neck and shoulders.

Solution : Avoid things that can cause stress. See doctor, psychologist and psychiatrist to learn how to face and cope with stress and depression. And have medication taken if necessary.

Gas Problem

Gas may cause body pain and fatigue. Excessive and extra gas in the body caused body pain such as abdominal pain and also whole body pain. It also cause nausea, especially in the morning.

Solution : Add ginger and garlic to daily menu. Add garlic while cooking rice and eat them with rice. Find food that can expel gas from the body. Take gas medication from doctors. Drink enough water.

Lack of Exercise and Movement

Lack of exercise and movement can cause muscle weakness and muscle pain. It is said that lack of movement can cause muscle loss. And joints also can become stiff.

Solution : Try to do simple exercises like brisk walking or even stretching when we have muscle and joint pain. If the pain decrease, add more activities and exercises in our daily lives.

Lack of Certain Minerals

Lack of certain minerals such as vitamin D can cause muscle pain and weakness.

These are some possible reasons that may have caused extreme fatigue and body pain to me. I am now working on improving my health by addressing those issues, like taking supplements such as iron, drinking 8 glasses of water a day, taking enough break and rest when tired and so on.

There are also some other possible reasons of extreme fatigue and body pain that I found in my search. These are autoimmune disease, arthritis, heart disease and infections. And maybe more. It is important to go and see doctors when you have prolonged extreme fatigue to find out the cause of it and take appropriate actions.
